Do you stop promoting your vacation rental once you have placed it on a web page online and hope your vacancy calendar will fill up?
It is your rental business and you should never stop promoting it. Here are a few tips to help you continue promoting and filling up your calendar. Vacation web sites
Check on line for free ad insertions on vacation rental web sites. The bottom line is for you to make money. The more you get the word out that you are open for business the better. Add photos to your web page
You just can’t have too many photos. Photos are a stand alone story of your vacation rental. Visitors like to visualize their vacation home and you can sell them on your Vacation Rental with up to date photos. Photos of the view from the windows; outdoor patio, show them the area parks, ocean beaches, wildlife, and your hometown architecture. Talk to your prospective customers
Don’t just email your customers with times, dates and prices ask them about their holiday and why they are coming to your area. If they love scuba diving send them information about the facilities that are available to them. Send phone numbers and information about gear rentals etc. You may have flyer you can send some to help them plan their trip or leave in their room upon arrival. After all you may be their first and only contact in your town or country. Business Cards
Don’t let your cards gather dust on your desk put one in all your mailings. Drop them by the local realtor office; they know who is coming in from out of town in need of lodging for a day or two. Be sure to leave your cards on the hall table in your rental home. Your customers can pick one up and pass it on when they go home to tell their friends and family where the best place to stay when they visit your area. Add your signature to all your emails
How many times do you forward emails that have been sent to someone who sends it to someone, you get the picture. We send numerous emails every day. With each email you send you can send a free advertisement of your Vacation rental along with your friendly replies and comments. Be sure to add a clickable address link to your web page so they can view all your rental information and photos of your beautiful vacation rental. I hope this information helps to empower you with some new tools and helps to strengthen your relationship with your customers.
